My 4-year-old asks for this almost every afternoon now, and the little ocean scenes give her something to aim for instead of just snipping random paper. The pages are thick enough that her wobbly cuts don't tear through, which matters a lot at this stage.
The cutting lines get progressively trickier, which kept my five-year-old busy for almost an hour without whining. Scissors glide through the pages cleanly too, so there's less tearing and fewer meltdowns.
My four-year-old grabs this pad every afternoon and begs to practice cutting. The ocean designs are perfect for little hands, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in her scissor control after just a week.
