The watermelon board actually smells like watermelon when my daughter wets the pen, which I did not expect. Five spiral-bound pages means she can rotate through them instead of begging for more paper, and nothing has stained the table yet.
I got this for a road trip and it kept my four-year-old busy for almost an hour with zero mess. The spiral binding means the boards stay together in the car seat, and the watermelon page actually smells like watermelon once it's wet.
My toddler can't get enough of sniffing each page before she paints—the banana one smells spot-on. The refillable water pen makes it mess-free in the car, and the spiral binding keeps everything neat for on-the-go trips.
