My toddler loves pressing the buttons on each page, and the clicks and pops keep her engaged through the whole book. The board pages are sturdy enough to handle her enthusiastic poking.
The popping sound on each page is weirdly addictive, and it keeps my 2-year-old busy through the whole book instead of flipping ahead. I like that it names both the pets and their babies, so we're practicing animal pairs without it feeling like a lesson.
My 14-month-old figured out the poke buttons on the very first page and now she won't put this down. The clicky pops are loud enough to hold her attention but not annoying on a car ride. Naming the pet babies along with her has turned into our little bedtime routine.
