My daughter loves poking the dots on each page; the popping sound really keeps her engaged while we sing along. It's held up well to rough toddler handling, which is a huge plus for a board book.
My 2-year-old asks for this book every night now, and the popping dots keep her busy through all 20 pages instead of squirming away. The clicks are loud enough to be satisfying but not annoying, and the board pages have survived her teething phase so far.
The click-to-count buttons on every page have held up way better than I expected, even with my 2-year-old mashing them nonstop. Twenty pages of safari animals means it actually keeps him busy through a whole restaurant meal, which is worth its weight in gold.
