The 11x14 size is perfect for my son, who spreads out on the floor with his markers and actually has room to work. I also love that the outlines are only on one side, so the blank back keeps his finished drawing from smudging.
The pages are thick enough that my daughter can color with markers without bleed-through ruining the next picture, which is a huge win for us. At 11x14, it's big enough for her to really spread out, and the mix of space and dino themes keeps her busy for a solid hour each sitting.
My son went through the whole shark section in one sitting, and I didn't have to peel any pages apart thanks to the single-sided outlines. The paper is thick enough that his markers didn't bleed through to the next drawing, which honestly never happens with the cheap pads we've tried.
