My daughter runs to this calendar every morning to move the pieces and announce the day, and I love that it quietly sneaks in counting practice too. The little magnets are easy for her small hands to grab, though I do find one stuck to the fridge door now and then.

The magnetic pieces actually stick well to the fridge, even with my toddler grabbing at them constantly. My daughter likes moving the day and date herself, and it's cut down on the "what day is it" questions every morning.
