My toddler loves lifting the crinkly flaps to find the shapes inside—keeps her entertained on car rides. The nine plastic pieces are chunky enough for little hands to grab easily.
The padded case survives being tossed in my bag, which is honestly why this works so well for us. My son matches the nine plastic shapes and lifts the flaps while we wait at restaurants, and it keeps him busy way longer than a phone would.
My daughter is obsessed with the crinkly flaps on this thing, and the shape matching actually keeps her busy for a solid 20 minutes in the car. The nine plastic shapes are chunky enough that she can grab them easily, and nothing has cracked yet after a month of daily use.
