Map Floor Puzzle - 51 Pieces

My 1st grader has been naming state capitals nonstop since we finished this—each piece shows the capital and a cute little regional illustration, so it's a geography lesson disguised as play. We've already done it three times on the living room floor.

The puzzle is huge once it's together, about 3 by 2 feet, so all three of my kids can crowd around it at once without fighting over space. The little illustrations on each state gave us something to talk about besides just naming capitals.

My kids actually learned their state capitals from this, which I didn't expect. The 3 x 2 ft size is big enough that all three of them can crowd around it at once without fighting over space.
