My 4-year-old spends a solid 20 minutes tracing the uppercase letters on the chalk side, which is unheard of for her. The board is sturdy enough that it doesn't slide around when she presses hard with the chalk.
The dry-erase side wiped clean with just a damp cloth, no ghosting left behind. My four-year-old has been tracing letters on it every morning before preschool.
The double-sided design is genius — chalk on one side, dry-erase on the other means my kids can switch activities without me digging out a second board. The magnetic letters stick well and don't slide around, even when my toddler bumps the table.
