My two-year-old figured out the connect-and-play pegs on the second day and now builds little fences for the animal figures all on her own. The solid wood has a nice weight to it too, so the pieces don't slide apart mid-play like her plastic blocks do.
My 3-year-old has been stacking these solid wood pieces for days now, and they hold up beautifully to all the knocking over. The farm animals are cute and detailed, making it easy to turn playtime into little stories. Definitely worth grabbing the 2-pack since my daughter wants them all out at once.
