It's fun to learn geography with this 45-piece wooden puzzle. With colorful images associated with each state in the United States, plus the capital name and state outline under each piece, this puzzle is a bonanza of learning! The back of the puzzle lists additional state facts, including state flag, bird, motto, population and more.
My kids actually enjoy learning state capitals now thanks to the colorful pictures on each puzzle piece. The wooden pieces are sturdy and fit well, and the state outlines underneath are a nice bonus.
The capital names printed under each wooden piece turned our weekend map game into an actual geography lesson. My kids fight over who gets to place California, and the state outlines underneath make it self-checking so I'm not hovering.
My nephew spends way more time on this than his tablet now, mostly because he likes finding the capital name hidden under each piece. The state outlines underneath make it self-correcting, so he can do the whole 45-piece map without me hovering.
