At last! A wooden alphabet puzzle that has upper and lower case versions of each letter. Complete the puzzle by matching the name of the picture to its sound and the shape of the letter to its space. 52 letters for spelling, puzzling and stenciling fun.
The pictures on each piece make it easy for my child to connect the letter sound to the shape.
The matching upper and lower case thing is what sold me, since my daughter already knows her capitals and this bridges the gap. The wooden pieces are chunky enough for small hands to grab without frustration.
My 4-year-old actually asks to play with this, which says a lot. The upper and lower case letters being separate pieces means she's learning both at once instead of just capitals, and the wooden pieces have held up fine after a few months of daily use.
