My daughter spent a whole hour connecting the wooden tractor pieces together, which is a lifetime for her. The blocks click together firmly but are easy enough for her small hands to pull apart, and I like that they're teaching her problem-solving without screens.
My three-year-old figured out how to stack the wooden blocks into a little tractor all on her own, and she was so proud. The pieces are chunky enough for small hands to grip without getting frustrated.
The pieces actually connect, so my four-year-old builds a little tractor and then stacks a cow on top of it. Wood feels sturdy and the paint hasn't chipped even after a few tumbles off the table.
