Melissa & Doug Safari Water Wow! Bought this for a road trip and it kept my 3-year-old busy for almost an hour, which never happens. The pages dry and go blank again so she can redo the safari scenes over and over, and nothing leaked in the car seat.
The refillable water pen is a genius touch since my two-year-old would lose a cap in about five seconds flat. She colors the lions and giraffes over and over, and I love that there's zero cleanup for me afterward.
The pages genuinely stay clean—no puddles or stained seats—and the pen is chunky enough for my three-year-old to grip easily. The safari scenes fading back to blank once dry is the kind of magic that keeps her asking for "one more page.
