The extra-thick wood makes these puzzles feel sturdy and durable, even with my toddler's rough handling. Our little one loves matching the fish to the bowl and the pets to their blue house — it's already a daily favorite.
The wooden knobs are the perfect size for my toddler's little fingers, and the puzzles are thick enough that she can't bend or chew them up. The fish bowl one keeps her busy for a solid ten minutes, which is basically a miracle.
My 18-month-old can actually grip the chunky wooden knobs on her own, which surprised me since most puzzle pieces are too flat for her fingers. The pieces are thick enough that she doesn't get frustrated trying to fit them in, and she'll sit with the house pets one for a solid ten minutes.
