The chunky wooden letters are easy for little hands to grab, and my 3-year-old loves matching them to the picture cards to spell simple words. It's quietly teaching her letter sounds without feeling like a lesson at all.
My 4-year-old actually asks to play with this, which says a lot. The letter pieces fit snugly into the word boards so they don't slide around, and she's already matching sounds to letters on her own.
