Compare the PAW Patrol Water Wow! 3-Pack and Jumbo Coloring Pad for travel. See which mess-free option suits flights, car rides, and restaurant waits.
Quick answer
For most travel situations, choose the PAW Patrol Water Wow! 3-Pack because it is reusable and mess-free with water only. Pick the Jumbo Coloring Pad - Vehicles when you need a low-cost, tear-out option for multiple children and have crayons or markers on hand.
Reusability and mess: the core trade-off
The Water Wow! pads are designed for repeat use: pages are white when dry and reveal colors when wet, then erase as they dry. That means no loose pages or stray marks, but you need water and must wait for pages to dry before coloring again. The Jumbo Coloring Pad uses traditional coloring tools, so it offers instant color and no drying time, but it requires carrying crayons, markers, or pencils and produces disposable pages.
Space and sharing on the go
The Jumbo Coloring Pad’s heavy-weight pages tear out cleanly, so more than one child can color at once and finished work can be displayed or packed away. The Water Wow! 3-Pack gives each child a separate themed pad (Skye, Chase, Marshall) with four reusable boards each, but the spiral-bound format is less suited to sharing a single pad. If you are packing for a family with multiple children, the tear-out feature may reduce arguments over whose turn it is.
What you need to pack
Water Wow! needs only water, which you can usually request on a flight or bring in a small bottle, but the pen is not supplied in the catalog facts and should be confirmed before travel. The Jumbo Coloring Pad needs coloring tools that are not included, and markers or paints increase the risk of stains on car seats and airplane trays. Crayons or colored pencils are the lower-risk pairing if you choose the pad.
Key trade-offs at a glance
- Mess and cleanup: Water Wow! uses water only and dries to erase; the Jumbo Coloring Pad needs crayons, markers, or paints that can mark surfaces and clothes. If you have a child who tends to color outside the lines or on tray tables, Water Wow! reduces cleanup.
- Reuse versus disposability: Water Wow! boards are reusable after drying; Jumbo Coloring Pad pages are used once but tear out for display or sharing. For a single long trip with one child, Water Wow! avoids running out of pages; for a group art session, the pad’s tear-outs are more practical.
- Number of children: The Water Wow! 3-Pack provides three separate pads, while the Jumbo Coloring Pad’s tear-out pages let multiple children share one pad simultaneously. Match the format to whether children prefer individual ownership or shared coloring.
- Packing list: Water Wow! requires water (and a pen, which should be confirmed as included); the Jumbo Coloring Pad requires coloring tools that are not included. Check what is actually in the box before you leave, especially for flights where liquids are restricted.
